Baby Maasai Necklace
Handmade recycled solid brass charm, made by artisans in Kenya. This is on a beaded necklace, made with agate stones & glass beads in Cape Town.
The Maasai tribe are renowned for their traditional beaded adornment that they have long used to decorate their bodies. When designing the main charm in this necklace we were inspired by the shapes used in Masaai pieces. We also created this piece in predominantly glass beads which are so commonly use in Masaai jewellery. We added in swaying beads to shake and move when you dance!

Necklace: 700mm circumference. Charm: 40mm length with dangles x 40mm width at widest point.
