Each piece of pottery is a piece of functional art and a conversation piece for the table. Capturing the abstract African aesthetic for which Potterswork has become known around the world. The artists work within this design language to create their own unique pieces.
The “greenware” (unfired clay item) is painted with underglazes and intricate patterns are applied with thicker 3D paints, which produce raised dots giving the ceramics a wonderfully tactile feel.
Main colour pattern is aqua. Each piece is hand painted and variations make it a functional piece of art.
